Where the Journey Begins
Tulon was born on a farm. In the Chepsangor Hills of Kenya, just below the rolling Nandi Hills, our story began with soil, sunlight, and a bold vision. This land is more than where we grow coffee. It is our home, our foundation, and the heart of our tribe.
Rooted in Purpose
Our farm sits at high elevation and is nourished by volcanic soil, cool mountain breezes, and steady rainfall. These ideal conditions give life to some of the world’s most flavorful Arabica coffee. But what truly sets our farm apart is the passion of the people who care for it. Every plant is nurtured with deep knowledge, patience, and pride.
Innovative at Every Step
We do more than grow coffee. We refine it through thoughtful and progressive methods. Our farm uses eco-pulping to reduce water waste, honey processing to create layers of flavor and body, and the sleeping bag drying method to ensure even and consistent drying. These techniques allow us to bring out the unique character of each bean while preserving the environment that makes it all possible. All of our processes are held to the highest standards of quality, control, and traceability.
Sustainability is at the Core
Farming, for us, is about responsibility. We practice sustainable agriculture that protects the land, conserves resources, and supports future generations. Every decision is made with long-term impact in mind, from composting organic waste to preserving natural biodiversity.
Empowering Our Community
Our farm is not just a place of production. It is a place of opportunity. By creating local jobs, paying fair wages, and offering training and growth, we uplift the communities around us. This is how we ensure that everyone involved in the journey—from seedling to cup—is valued and respected.
This is where Tulon begins. On a single farm, guided by purpose, driven by innovation, and built on community. From these hills to your cup, every bean carries the spirit of our tribe.
